Camping,  2022,  Running

Bribie Island Parkrun

Parkrun today was at the relatively new Bribie Island parkrun, the S.S. Koopa Trail Parkrun. Coincidentally, it is Belinda’s 333rd and my 111th parkrun. It wasn’t an early start for a change, as we were camping at Bongaree for the long weekend with the Macqueens and Nicolles. The run itself was nice. We ran 2 laps of up and back along the boardwalk. It was a little windy, but the overall temperature was perfect for running.

I set a new PB for the year of 28:36, which is only 59 seconds off my overall PB. Hopefully, the next couple of Parkruns I’ll get closer, or beat (fingers crossed) my old PB.
