Goodbye Ashmore Palms

Sadly, today was our last day of holidays. We say goodbye to our little holiday home at Ashmore Palms. Despite the constant fighting from Emma and Ryan trying to kill each other, the holiday was fairly relaxing and enjoyable. We definitely are going to miss being able to go to the pool everyday.

Last night we went out to dinner at the Ashmore Tavern. It was just a short walk around the corner, so we set off on foot. We came across a toad on the way, which Emma wasn’t all that happy about, but we quickly moved on.

The tavern was holding a trivia night. We were going to compete but the kids were already pretty zapped from the activities of the day, so we decided to leave once we’d finished our dinner and deserts.

We were able to fit in one more kids club activity before we left. This time it was balloon making. Emma and Ryan both made balloon friendship bracelets, as well as a balloon sword, which they made themselves. Here are a few photos and a video of the kids playing in between activities.

On arriving home, we were all greeted by some excited pets who missed us. Overall we had a great time away, but at the same time we were glad to be back in the comfort of our own home again. Now all that is left is to start planning the next holiday!
