Turtle Beach Holiday Resort here we come!

So we just arrived back from New Zealand and it looks like we have caught the holiday bug. We were going to make this Christmas a trip to Phuket, but there is a full moon festival on at the exact time we could go, making the prices far too expensive for us. So we said Phuket, we’ll book in early and make it next Christmas, maybe.

So that still left us with a bit of a travel itch and instead we decided to keep it local. We found this awesome little place at Mermaid Beach for 8 nights just before Christmas.

While this isn’t as exciting as an international holiday, the place looks like it will be plenty of fun for the kids, with a built-in water park, 22 seat cinema, kids club, put-put golf and plenty of other fun activities.

Well the countdown is on again. Can’t wait!
