Ryan’s 8th Birthday

Well this year it likely to be a memorable year for us, and especially Ryan, as it will be remembered as the year that the Coronavirus pandemic cancelled his birthday party.

While we are not trying to focus on the impacts of this pandemic, it has made it hard to do the simplest of things, like having a birthday party.

Even though we weren’t able to celebrate Ryan’s birthday the way we had intended to, we still had a great weekend. Ryan was pretty happy with his birthday presents, which was an added bonus to help stave off the isolation boredom.

On Monday morning, Ryan opened his presents from us. We might have gone a little overboard with the number of present, however Ryan didn’t seem too bothered by that! We had Lorraine and Darren come over on Sunday night and give Ryan his present, as well as have a small cake celebration.
