Tonight we had Emma & Ryan’s Newtown State School Awards night. It kicked off with the first half of the night, being for grade 1 through to grade 3, where Ryan cleaned up with the Highest Achievement Award for Numeracy for his class. Ryan was pleasantly surprised that he received his award this year, and maybe a little more than some of his classmates, who were “not so quietly” confident that Ryan was going to get an award this year….
Presenting the 2019 Year 2-3 School Handball Champion….Ryan! Today Ryan received an award on school parade for smashing the competition in the year 2-3 handball tournament. His name was engraved on the handball champions school trophy and he received a personal medal for his efforts. We are all very proud of him. His game has certainly improved since he started playing only last year. He can definitely get some good shots in, that will even trick me up. Congratulations again…
It is that time of year again! What time is that, you ask? It is Christmas time! 🙂 Emma & Ryan had their school Christmas concert today. The first video shows Emma’s classroom, 2B, singing the song “Aussie Jingle Bells” in their single, shorts and thongs. Emma was excited to be wearing singlet, shorts and thongs at school. Ryan performed with his classroom, Prep R, the song “Baby Shark”. Both of the kids had fun performing in front of their friends…
